Betty Dickert...
... Born and raised in Alabama and Northern Florida brings Southern Hospitality to your visit. Betty is
a gourmet chef, an interior decorator, an avid gardener, and certified fitness instructor.
You can sample Betty's gourmet
meals at breakfast. Some of her guests’ favorites are French toast (many great varieties), fresh fruit, Southern style
ham, bacon, and cheese grits.
Gardens that surround the house are always under development. The 3 fountains and various
water gardens have been featured in the Times-Union and are on the Garden Tour. The Southern style porch swing on the recently
constructed pergola is one of her favorite places.
Decorations in the home are a combination of personal items and
antiques. The rooms focus on different themes and are occasionally changed to improve services and convenience to guests.
Betty has been a fitness advocate since 1965. She teaches dance and step aerobics, resistance training,
and movement & stretch classes at the neighborhood YMCA. Her classes are extremely popular and can be attended by her
guests.
